Freedom March, 14.10.2023

On 14.10.2023 (Saturday) the Local Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings - Pazardzik for the fifth year hosted the Freedom March, which is organized by the "A21 Foundation" in Pazardzik. On the occasion of the 18th of October - European Day against Trafficking in Human Beings.

The initiative is global, and unites citizens with an active public position, partners, and supporters in the fight against human trafficking, aiming to draw the attention of the local community to the enormous scale of the crime of human trafficking and trafficking in human life.

Traditionally, the participants in the March gathered at Konstantin Velichkov square at 11 am, in a column behind each other, silently wearing black T-shirts with the inscription "Today, slavery still exists", headed to the finishing point of Freedom Park. Volunteers from the Focus- European Centre for Development Pazardzhik and the LCCTHB Pazardzhik took part in the march.
