
On March 27th, 2019, a specialized training for information technology teachers from the towns of Montana, Berkovitsa and Varshets was held at the Youth Center, Montana on the topic: “Internet - safe space for children and young people in the context of the risk of being trafficked."
The event was organized by the Local Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings - Montana and the National Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings in partnership with the Municipality of Montana and the Regional Department of Education - Montana.
The speakers were Mrs. Antoaneta Vassileva and Mrs. Ralitsa Mihailova, experts from the National Center for Safe Internet and the “Parents” Association.
The training was conducted with a view to the widespread practice of involvement in traffic through new methods, tools and approaches, not least of which are based on the use of information technologies, the Internet in particular.
A large number of presentations, videos, case studies and discussions were used, maintaining the interest of the participants until the end of the training.
