In the period 12-13.12.2022, the Local Commissions for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings Montana, Pleven, Veliko Tarnovo, and Pazardzhik with the support of the National Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings Sofia and the Hans Seidel Foundation held a training on "Human Trafficking: Practices in Investigation and Prosecution. Victim Protection and Support."
Prosecutors, investigators, Ministry of Interior officials, and representatives of the Local Commissions participated simultaneously.
The lecturers at the event were Prof. Dr. Iva Pushkarova, Ph.D. in Criminal Legal Sciences, an expert in the individualization of severe punishments, Prosecutor Vladimir Nikolov - Administrative Head of the Pleven District Prosecutor's Office and President of the Association of Prosecutors in Bulgaria and Ms. Anna Nikolova - Manager of the shelters for temporary accommodation of victims of human trafficking Varna and Sofia.
