The Local Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings in Sliven Took Part in a Job Fair With the Participation of 131 Unemployed Persons, Including Ukrainian Citizens Willing to Work in Bulgaria


On 26 May 2022. The Local Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings in Sliven took part with an information stand in a job fair organized by the Directorate of the Labour Office - Sliven in the "Military Club", with the participation of 131 unemployed persons.

During the event, the participants were informed about the mechanisms of involvement in human trafficking for labour exploitation and ways to protect themselves from risky situations, given the opportunities for work abroad.

The labour exchange was also attended by 21 citizens of the Republic of Ukraine willing to work in Bulgaria, who were provided with specialized prevention materials created by the National Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and the A21 Bulgaria Foundation.
