Representatives of the National Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings took part as lecturers in a training course for trainee atachets, within the framework of the module "Trafficking in Human Beings: Identification and Referral. Solving practical cases".
During the session, the international and national legislative frameworks, the function of the National Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, the definition of crime, forms of exploitation and indicators were presented. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials were also acquainted of the main characteristics and profile of victims and persons at risk, the methods of involvement, the function of the National Mechanism for targeting and supporting victims of trafficking in human beings, the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic staff in the implementation of the National Mechanism, practical guidelines for case work, examples and cases, as well as activities related to the prevention of crime.
