LCCTHB Veliko Tarnovo launched a campaign on the occasion of February 9 - Day for Safe Internet

In connection to the 9th of February - Day for Safe Internet, the Local Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings Veliko Tarnovo launched a student prevention and information campaign.

The initiative aims to inform pupils about the danger of the Internet, including involvement in human trafficking, and how to protect themselves.

The campaign will include targeted information sessions/talks with students, with four meetings with seventh-grade students held during the 8th - 10th of February.

During the sessions, children will be introduced to the main risks in the virtual space through screening of various videos on the topic, solving case studies, and conducting role-plays.

The campaign will run until the end of February.

* In 2021 Safer Internet Day will be celebrated for the 18th consecutive year, with the motto "Together for a Better Internet".
